In the morning, your expert guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the boarding point of your selected lake.

Nahuel Huapi stands as the most significant lake within the National Park, lending its name to the park itself. Vast in size and depth, it features seven distinct arms, each showcasing unique characteristics. The lake is inhabited by large trout, predominantly rainbow and brown, with some remarkable brook trout as well. These sizable trout, while challenging to catch with a fly, offer an exhilarating challenge. We utilize a motorboat to fish and explore this expansive lake using fly, spinning, or trolling techniques.

Lake Gutiérrez is situated just 11 km from Bariloche. This lake serves as an excellent fishing choice on windy days due to its strategic location and wind-protected bays. Surrounded by stunning landscapes, it provides a prime fishing experience, offering the chance to catch rainbow, brown, and brook trout.

Lake Moreno is accessible for fishing all year round. Located 16 km from Bariloche's center, it provides exceptional opportunities to catch rainbow and brook trout. This remarkable place offers views of magnificent residences along the shore, set against the majestic backdrop of the Andes Mountains.

Upon reaching the lake's boarding point, your guide will introduce the fishing techniques recommended for the excursion:

Fly Fishing: This involves casting flies—“dressed” hooks that mimic insects, small fish, shrimp, etc.—using a weighted line specifically designed for this technique. It undoubtedly requires practice and dedication to master the casting, but it is gaining popularity worldwide.
Spinning: This technique involves casting and retrieving artificial lures like spoons, simulating the movement of small organisms in the water, which can entice the voracious trout if successfully deceived.
Trolling: The Nahuel Huapi National Park offers numerous idyllic lakes for this type of fishing. We drag artificial lures at a slow speed from the motorboat while enjoying the breathtaking landscapes.

The excursion will then commence, with you sailing on Lake Nahuel Huapi, Moreno, or Gutiérrez and fishing using your chosen technique.

After two hours of fishing from the boat, you'll arrive at the lake's edge to savor a delightful lunch in nature. Following a break, you'll continue floating and fishing in the afternoon at the prime spots these lakes offer.

Accompanied by your guide, you'll gain insights into the history of the San Carlos de Bariloche region and discover the best fishing options and fish species found in the area.

Upon completing a 12 km journey, your guide will lead you to the lake departure site, where you'll be greeted by vehicles to transport you back to your hotel.
