Descripción del Tour:

You will be collected from your hotel by a knowledgeable guide and taken to the embarkation point of your chosen lake.
Lake Nahuel Huapi is the largest lake and a key feature of the National Park, lending its name to it. Vast in size and depth, it boasts seven unique arms, each with distinct characteristics. It is home to large trout, primarily Rainbows and Browns, and in smaller numbers, the remarkable Fontinalis. These sizable trout present a significant challenge, especially when fly fishing. We utilize motorboats to fish and explore this magnificent lake using Fly, Spinning, or Trolling methods.
Lake Gutiérrez is situated 11 km from the city of Bariloche. This lake is ideal for fishing on windy days due to its unique location and bays sheltered from the wind. Surrounded by stunning landscapes, it offers excellent fishing opportunities for Rainbow, Brown, and Fontinalis trout.

Lake Moreno is open for fishing throughout the year. Located 16 km from central Bariloche, it provides excellent Rainbow and Fontinalis trout fishing. The area is breathtaking, with splendid residences along the shores set against the majestic backdrop of the Andes Mountains.

Upon reaching the lake embarkation point, your guide will introduce you to the fishing techniques we recommend for the excursion:
  • Fly Fishing: This involves casting flies – “dressed” hooks – that mimic insects, small fish, shrimp, etc., using a weighted line specifically designed for this purpose, with a precise technique. This method requires practice and dedication to master casting, but it is gaining popularity worldwide.
  • Spinning: This technique involves casting and retrieving artificial lures like spoons, mimicking the movement of a small organism in the water, enticing the voracious trout to strike.
  • Trolling: The Nahuel Huapi National Park features numerous idyllic lakes for trolling. We drag artificial lures at a slow pace from the motorboat while soaking in the beautiful landscapes.
Afterwards, the excursion will commence, navigating Lake Nahuel Huapi, Moreno, or Gutiérrez, and fishing with the technique you've chosen.
You will continue to drift and fish throughout the morning or afternoon, depending on your selected option, at the finest spots these lakes offer.
Always accompanied by your guide, you will learn about the history of the San Carlos de Bariloche region and the premier fishing spots and species in the area.
After a journey of 12 km, your guide will return you to the lake's departure site, where vehicles will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
Fishing Season
The fishing season runs annually from November 1 to April 30 within the Nahuel Huapi National Park, Northern Patagonia.
