Descripción del Tour:
The tour begins at 8:30 am with a pick-up from centrally located hotels in Bariloche, following route 258 to the southern sector of Nahuel Huapi Park. Our journey will involve traversing the Manso River until we arrive at Josh's Estancia, where a warm welcome awaits us.
Upon arrival, we will be welcomed with coffee and equipped with navigation gear. Subsequently, the lead guide will conduct a safety briefing. After this, we will embark on our journey to navigate the final part of the Manso River on Argentine soil. Initially, the river's calm waters allow us to enjoy the scenery, relax on white sand beaches, and observe cascading waterfalls.
Progressing further, the Manso River becomes more vigorous, leading us to thrilling rapids through narrow canyons, showcasing the region’s lush vegetation: El Cajón de Terciopelo, Agujero de Ozono, Gritá y beblá a la izquierda, el Tobogancito, Garganta Profunda, Éxtasis, Huevo Revuelto, Colmillo, and Internacional. The gorges accompany our adventure through the Andes Mountains.
Our rafting adventure concludes at the Chilean border, marked by the Border Marker. We will pack our gear and return to John’s Estancia along a new trail that mirrors an old mule track, passing streams and ravines along the way.
Back at John’s Estancia, the family’s warm hospitality and the breathtaking beauty of this classic Patagonian ranch will leave us in awe. The charming house, barns, lovely garden, and grove are a testament to over fifty years of dedication. This stunning setting is enhanced by the view of Cerro Bastión.
Once the tour concludes, we will head back to Bariloche city center and drop you off at your centrally located hotel.
