The journey we embark on begins with the Route No. 40, where we will traverse the bridge crossing the Limay River, the natural boundary between the provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén.
Passing through the Huemul Peninsula and Puerto Manzano, our destination is Villa La Angostura before continuing along the renowned path of the 7 lakes: Nahuel Huapi, majestic in its expanse, is one of the most significant lakes of glacial origin, encompassing an area of 529 km.
The Villarino Lake, surrounded by a forest of coihues and mountain ranges, is visible from the road's summit and connects with the Falkner Lake. Nestled between two mountains along the roadside, you'll find Lake Machonico with its serene, dark blue waters.
Upon reaching San Martín de los Andes, you will witness the Lacar Lake.
We will retrace our steps to return to the hotels in Bariloche.
