Reserve a private day dedicated to fishing, whether it's fly fishing or spinning, accompanied by top local guides who will lead you on a float trip along the Pichi Leufú River. This excursion caters to up to two anglers per cata-raft, vessels specifically crafted for navigating mountain rivers, and ideal for fishing in lakes where motor boats are restricted. On the Pichi Leufú River, we will drift approximately 12 km, fishing both from the boat and by stopping to wade at prime fishing spots, usually unreachable by most anglers. At midday, we will relish a delightful lunch prepared and served on the riverbank.
Tour Description
- Fly Fishing: This technique involves casting flies—essentially "dressed" hooks that mimic insects, small fish, or shrimp—using a weighted line specifically designed for this purpose. This method demands practice and precision, yet it's gaining popularity worldwide.
- Spinning: This method involves casting and retrieving artificial lures, such as spoons, to mimic the movement of a small organism in the water, enticing the trout to strike if deceived effectively.
