Limay River Rafting

Después de un año a puro trabajo, nos regalamos este rafting y salimos felices (y apenas mojadas). El viaje desde Bariloche fue comodísimo: van con aire acondicionado, asientos amplios y hasta una parada para café en Dina Huapi. El paisaje del valle del Limay, con sus formaciones rocosas y la estepa abierta, es una locura; el Anfiteatro del Limay parece de película. La navegación tuvo rápidos divertidos, sin dejar de disfrutar el silencio y las vistas. Volvimos cansadas, tentadas y renovadas.

Booking was surprisingly easy. I messaged Best Bariloche Tours about dates and pickup options, and they replied the same afternoon with clear answers and a useful packing note. The reservation confirmation included the exact pickup time and what happened if weather changed. Once there, the guides were patient with our family, especially my nervous 12-year-old, and the Limay scenery was fantastic. For the price, lunch, gear, transport, and several hours on the river felt like a very fair deal overall.

Fizemos o rafting no Rio Limay na baixa temporada e foi uma das melhores partes da viagem. Além dos trechos de corredeira, a excursão incluiu caminhada curta pela estepe, paradas para fotos e um lanche às margens do rio, tudo muito bem organizado. Nosso guia, Martín, conhecia cada curva e explicou como o vento muda perto do Anfiteatro, detalhe que deixou o passeio ainda mais interessante. Ele também contou histórias sobre formações vulcânicas da região e conduziu o grupo com muita segurança. A água estava gelada, mas o equipamento era ótimo. Voltamos cansados, felizes e com paisagens incríveis na memória.

Nach einem arbeitsreichen Jahr war dieser Ausflug genau unser Ding: Der Kleinbus holte uns pünktlich am Hotel ab, mit bequemen Sitzen, viel Beinfreiheit und sogar einer kurzen Kaffeepause. Die Fahrt aus Bariloche hinaus durch die trockene Steppe und entlang des Limay war schon ein Erlebnis. Beim Einstieg nahe Villa Llanquín glitzerte der Fluss zwischen roten Felswänden; die ruhigen Stromschnellen machten uns Rentnern richtig Mut. Rückfahrt entspannt – nur unsere Lachmuskeln waren müde.

Après une année de boulot intense, cette sortie entre potes nous a vraiment changé les idées. Le minibus était confortable, climatisé et suffisamment spacieux pour nos sacs ; le trajet depuis Bariloche s’est fait sans secousses, avec un arrêt pratique pour un café. Sur le Limay, l’eau turquoise file entre les falaises volcaniques et la steppe dorée. On a même aperçu un guanaco près d’un virage. L’équipe expliquait chaque manœuvre sans nous stresser. Retour fatigués, mais complètement rincés de bonheur.
