The Limay River provides the perfect opportunity to explore this stunning region of Argentina. Here, you'll navigate between volcanic rock formations while observing native wildlife such as guanacos and deer, typical inhabitants of the riverside environment.
Tour Description
The tour commences with the pick-up from central hotels in the City of San Carlos de Bariloche at 09:00 am or 02:00 pm (depending on your chosen option). We head along route 237, tracing the path of the Limay River, until we reach La Lonja, where our launch point is located.
Upon arrival, an informative briefing will take place, during which life jackets and paddles will be distributed by our guides to each participant, marking the beginning of the adventure.
Once on the water, we set off on our journey amidst stunning volcanic rock formations, navigating through the majestic Amphitheater and observing the variety of local wildlife that inhabit the riverbank.
After an hour and a half of exploration, passing by Las Mellizas and Segunda Angostura, we arrive at El Mangrullo, near Villa Llanquín. Here, the journey concludes in a cozy riverside refuge, where we will unwind and savor the local culinary delights.
Once the leisure time concludes, we will head back to Bariloche, aiming to return around 1:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m., where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
