The Bariloche Adventure package includes four nights at a hotel, guided excursions with transfers from Bariloche, and convenient airport transfers to ensure a seamless journey.

Tour Description

Day 1

Arrival in Bariloche

Upon reaching Bariloche airport or the bus terminal, you'll be warmly welcomed and transported to your centrally-located hotel.

The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 2

Victoria Island and Arrayanes Forest

Following breakfast at the hotel, you'll be collected around 10:30 a.m. for a transfer to Puerto Pañuelo, where you'll board a boat.

This lake excursion includes a visit to the largest island on lake Nahuel Huapi, renowned for its diverse flora and fauna, both indigenous and exotic, and a visit to the last natural forest of Arrayanes.

Throughout the boat journey, as well as during walks through the Arrayanes Forest and on Victoria Island, professional Tourism guides will enlighten you on the flora, fauna, and history of these incredible locations, sharing insights into their past inhabitants and answering any questions about this unique area.

After approximately 30 minutes on the azure waters of Lake Nahuel Huapi, you'll reach Puerto Anchorena, situated in the island's central area with its service center. Here, you can choose from several hiking trails.

Your navigation continues to the Quetrihué Peninsula, where you can marvel at the stunning "only Arrayanes Forest in the world".

Around 5 p.m., you'll return to Puerto Pañuelo for the transfer back to your city-center hotel.

The rest of the afternoon and evening are free for you to enjoy as you wish.

Day 3

Kayaking and Trekking Mascardi Lake

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you'll be picked up around 9 a.m. and driven via Route 40 southwards into the National Park, continuing to the base at Mascardi Lake.

You'll start with a basic introduction to kayak techniques before setting out to explore this breathtaking lake, where the turquoise waters and majestic Andes mountains create an incredible backdrop.

A stop at a remote beach will allow you to savor a country lunch. After some relaxation, you'll return to the kayaks to paddle back to the starting point.

Once back at the lake base, a walk awaits you to immerse further in the stunning forest and lake surroundings before heading back to your hotel.

The remainder of the afternoon and evening are yours to spend as you please.

Day 4

Stay and Horseback Riding

Following breakfast, you'll be collected from your hotel around 9 a.m. for a one-hour journey to Estancia San Ramón.

On arrival, enjoy a warm welcome with tea, coffee, and traditional sweets for breakfast. Guides will then provide a brief session on horseback riding techniques and safety measures.

The morning ride takes you through the transitional forest area, moving from east to west, blending forest views with the Patagonian steppe. This 2-hour ride offers a chance to observe local wildlife.

After this adventure, you'll be treated to a hearty lunch.

After some relaxation, you're ready for the afternoon ride through the steppe landscape. Upon returning to the ranch, enjoy a snack before departing around 5:30 p.m. to reach your hotel by approximately 6:30 p.m.

The rest of the afternoon and evening are free for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 5

Farewell of Bariloche

In the morning, after breakfast, you'll check out of your hotel. Enjoy some free time until your transportation arrives to take you to the airport or terminal in Bariloche.

Autumn: colorful forests and cool weather perfect for trekking. Winter (Jun–Sep): snow activities and snowshoeing; intense cold. Spring: high water levels and blooming flowers. Pack layers: thermal base layer, fleece, waterproof/breathable jacket, comfortable pants, trekking boots with good traction, and a hat and gloves in winter. Also bring UV sunglasses, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and insect repellent. The adventure package in Bariloche is designed for travelers with basic to moderate fitness; some activities require a higher level of exertion. Swimming ability is usually required for water activities. The minimum age varies depending on the activity (approximately 8–12 years old with adult authorization), and weight or height limits may apply for safety reasons. The itinerary and duration of the Bariloche Adventure Package depend on the activities chosen and the season. Generally, there are daily departures with pick-up from hotels in downtown San Carlos de Bariloche or a designated meeting point. This includes check-in and a briefing, transfer to the natural area (lake, river, or forest), the main activity, and return. Experiences can be half-day (4–5 hours) or full-day (7–9 hours). You will be asked to arrive 10–15 minutes early and bring your ID and digital voucher. Final confirmation of schedules is sent via email or WhatsApp the day before. Please inquire about availability during peak season.

You can book your Bariloche excursion securely online with a credit card or bank transfer, or through a local agency. During peak season (January–February and July), it's advisable to confirm in advance to secure availability and better rates.
