Day 02: Small Circuit Excursion
After picking you up from your hotel in central Bariloche, we'll journey to Playa Bonita, situated 8 km from the city, where you'll witness the stunning Huemul Island.
Traveling 10 kilometers further, we'll arrive at Cerro Campanario, where a chairlift will elevate you to 1050 meters, offering breathtaking views of the Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno lakes, El Trébol lagoon, San Pedro and Llao Llao peninsulas, Victoria Island, and the Otto, López, Goye, and Catedral hills, alongside the city of Bariloche.
The tour proceeds to the magnificent Hotel Llao Llao and the charming San Eduardo Chapel, architectural marvels of the area. You'll also glimpse the golf courses and cross the Angostura bridge, linking lakes Moreno and Nahuel Huapi, before reaching Bahía López at the base of the namesake hill. Beyond the bay, you'll find a Panoramic Point, offering a natural balcony view of Lake Moreno and the Llao Llao Peninsula.
Your journey continues along Lake Moreno, crossing a scenic bridge that leads you along the El Trébol lagoon's shore. At kilometer 45, you'll circle back to the original route. As dusk descends over the Andes mountain range, we'll return you to the port and back to your hotel.

In the early morning, we'll collect you from your hotel in central Bariloche and head towards Lagos Gutiérrez and Mascardi. Following the coastlines, we'll take a dirt road to reach the majestic Cerro Tronador. This scenic tour explores the Circuito Chico, a must-see in Bariloche. It travels along the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi and Lake Moreno, with stops at iconic viewpoints like Punto Panorámico and Bahía López, perfect for photography. You'll also see the Llao Llao Peninsula, the historic Hotel Llao Llao, and Puerto Pañuelo (exterior views). The ascent to Cerro Campanario is optional and offers 360° views of Patagonia. The tour combines nature, Andean-Patagonian landscapes, and local culture, with the guide providing information about the flora, fauna, and history of Nahuel Huapi National Park to enrich your trip.

The Classic Bariloche tour typically lasts approximately 4 hours (half a day), with departures in the morning and afternoon depending on the season and tourist demand. It generally includes pick-up from downtown hotels or another centrally located meeting point easily accessible to travelers. The return trip is to the same pick-up point or to your hotel, depending on the day's schedule. We recommend reconfirming the time and meeting point 24 hours before the tour, especially during peak season. Stop times at viewpoints may vary due to traffic, Patagonian weather conditions, and the availability of the optional ascent to Cerro Campanario.

The price typically includes transportation in a licensed vehicle, a professional bilingual guide (Spanish/English), and accompaniment throughout the Circuito Chico tour and viewpoints. Meals and drinks, personal expenses, and the chairlift/cable car ticket to Cerro Campanario (optional and payable locally) are usually not included. Prices may vary depending on the season, service type (regular or private), and current promotions. It is recommended to check current rates, possible discounts for children, and change policies at the time of booking. Bring cash or a credit card in case the cable car operator or cafes do not accept all forms of payment.

You can book the Bariloche Clásico tour online in advance to secure your spot, especially during peak season (January–February and July). Payments are usually accepted by card and/or local methods; check available options at the time of purchase. After booking, you will receive a confirmation with the time, meeting point, and a digital voucher. Cancellation and rescheduling policies may vary depending on the date and service type: please consult the terms on the booking page. In case of adverse weather conditions typical of Patagonia, the operator may reschedule the tour or offer alternatives according to their current policy.

This is a low-intensity tour, ideal for families, couples, and senior travelers. There's minimal walking and short stops, all on paved roads. Pack layers of clothing, a windproof and waterproof jacket, comfortable closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, water, and snacks. Add money for food and drinks, and the optional ascent to Cerro Campanario. The weather in Bariloche can change quickly; even in summer, a warm layer is useful. If you have reduced mobility, please notify us in advance; some viewpoints have steps, and the optional ascent is not fully accessible. If you're traveling with young children, request a child seat when booking.
