Ski Day At Cathedral Hill

In the morning, you will be picked up in our vehicles at the designated meeting points within San Carlos de Bariloche. From there, we will set off on our journey to the awe-inspiring Cerro Catedral, the largest and most famous ski resort in South America.

The tour, lasting roughly 45 minutes, will take us along the stunning Lake Nahuel Huapi as we gradually ascend the roads leading to the winter resort. Throughout the journey, panoramic views of the mountain range and snow-draped forests will be our constant companions.

Upon reaching the base of the hill, we'll proceed to the Travesía Building, situated opposite Las Terrazas Shopping Center, which serves as the meeting point for collecting passes and gear. Our staff will be ready to assist us with obtaining the complete ski equipment (boots, skis, and poles), as well as the thermal clothing provided (jacket, pants, and helmet).

Once equipped, we will meet the certified instructors responsible for the activity. Participants will then be grouped according to the chosen activity, specifically beginner skiing.

Our adventure begins with a 2-hour group ski initiation lesson, perfect for those without prior experience. We will learn from the ground up how to put on our skis, the basic techniques for gliding, braking, and maintaining balance. This will all occur in a designated beginner area, in a secure and monitored setting, with instructors providing ongoing support. This first snow experience promises to be as enjoyable as it is unforgettable!

At the lesson's conclusion, we will escort you to one of the restaurants at the hill's base for a much-needed lunch (not included). A variety of culinary options will be available, allowing you to rest and recharge.

In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore Cerro Catedral at your own pace. With the included pass, you can continue practicing your newfound skills on the beginner slopes, explore the base area, capture panoramic photos of Nahuel Huapi National Park, or simply unwind in a mountain shelter with a warm beverage. Additionally, you'll have the chance to peruse the shops at the winter resort, offering everything from souvenirs to delectable Bariloche chocolates.

At the prearranged time, we will reconvene at the meeting point for our return journey to Bariloche. On the way back, we'll have the opportunity to exchange impressions and reminisce about the day's most thrilling moments filled with adventure, snow, and fun.
