Join a group lesson guided by experienced instructors who will enhance your technique and maximize your enjoyment of the runs. Additionally, the daily lift pass grants you the freedom to explore the diverse areas of this winter wonderland.
Post-lesson, you’ll have leisure time to further indulge in the snowy environment, wander around the hill's base, snap breathtaking photos, or unwind in the mountain lodges. This is a comprehensive, worry-free adventure to relish the thrill of snow in one of the premier destinations in South America.
Tour Description
Experience the thrill of snowboarding at Latin America's most iconic ski destination, perfectly set up for your introductory adventure on the board.
In the morning, we will collect you from designated pick-up points within San Carlos de Bariloche using our vehicles. Our journey will then begin towards the magnificent Cerro Catedral, recognized as the largest hub for winter sports in South America.
The approximately 45-minute ride will take us alongside the stunning Lake Nahuel Huapi, providing a scenic backdrop of snow-capped forests and mountains that sets the stage for an unforgettable day.
Upon arrival at the mountain's base, we will proceed to the Travesía Building, opposite the Las Terrazas Shopping Center. This serves as our meeting point to collect passes and gear. Our team will assist you in obtaining the complete snowboard gear (boots and board) and the included thermal wear (jacket, pants, and helmet).
Once equipped, we'll connect with our certified instructors, who will lead the introductory snowboarding class, tailored specifically for beginners.
Throughout the 2-hour session, you'll learn to position your board, maintain balance, execute turns, and brake safely. This activity occurs in a beginner-friendly zone, with ongoing support from specialized instructors, ensuring both safety and enjoyment.
Post-class, we'll head to one of the mountain's eateries to enjoy lunch (not included) and relax while taking in the majestic mountain views.
In the afternoon, you'll have free time to continue your Cerro Catedral adventure. With the included pass, you can keep practicing on beginner slopes or explore the mountain's base, capture panoramic photos, visit a mountain refuge, or savor a delightful hot chocolate.
As the day concludes, we will reconvene at the meeting point and make our way back to Bariloche, filled with excitement and a newfound love for the snow.
